Allegan County United Way is looking for volunteers to join five community investment panels this spring. These volunteers will serve as part of a new funding process of health and human service programs in Allegan County. Community investment volunteers will help determine how the funds raised during United Way’s annual campaign are invested. They will review program applications, tour program sites and meet to discuss program funding.
“It is vital for us to involve community members in this funding process,” said United Way’s Director of Community Impact Debbie Jennings. She continued, “With input from our community investment volunteers, we will be able to ensure that the programs we fund are effective in improving the education, financial stability and health of the people in Allegan County.”
To volunteer for the 2018 community investment process, email Debbie Jennings at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 269.673.6545 x10. Additional information is available online: https://www.acuw.org/community-investment.
