Allegan County United Way will host tax help sites throughout the county

Throughout the 2018 tax season, Allegan County United Way will partner with local libraries, churches and organizations to offer local residents free help with tax filing. Attendees should plan to bring the following items with them to the tax help sites: photo ID, social security or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) for each family member, birth dates for each family member, copy of last year’s federal and state returns (must have these to complete taxes), bank routing & account numbers to direct deposit refund, childcare expenses, provider name, address & tax ID, W-2s, 1099s, 1098s & other forms of income, 1095-A, B or C, healthcare statements, Health Insurance Exemption Certificate (if received), heat bill, landlord info and property tax bills.

Show Me the Money Day: Jan. 27 from 1-4pm

Apr. 9 from 5-8pm and Apr. 16 from 10am-2pm
